Meditation for the Voice Referendum | Ajahn Brahm | 9 Sep 2023

Join us as Ajahn Brahm leads a 56 minute meditation at 3pm AWST on Saturday 9th September at Dhammaloka Centre. There will be no talk or Qu0026A. This event will be livestreamed. 56 Hour Buddhist Meditation for the Voice Referendum 8th-10th September. All the Faith groups across Australia have come together to support the Voice Referendum. Across the weekend of 8th-10th September, Prayer, Reflection and Meditation will be offered by each Faith group for unity, hope and respect in the lead-up to the Voice Referendum. As Buddhists, we want to encourage healing and hope for the Aboriginal Community, and Australia. The Buddhist contribution is to hold a 56 hour meditation, representing 56 years since the last Aboriginal Referendum. starting at 9 am AWST on the 8th of September. This is intended to be a collective meditation shared by Buddhist individuals or groups across Australia who are prepared to meditate for half an hour, an hour or longer during the 56 hour period.
