Interview with producers of "A Life of Kindfulness - Ajahn Brahm" | Sandra Henville | 15 July 2022

Every year, the monastic community (Monks and nuns) go on a three month retreat called the “Rains Retreat” from mid July to mid October. During this period, they do not visit our centres for teachings as it’s a time for deepening their own practice. While the monks and nuns are away, we will have some interesting guest speakers coming in to give the Friday Night talk. JOURNEY INTO NOW 2022 This is the opening night of our Rains Retreat Guest Speaker Program for 2022: Journey into the Now. The last few years have seen an escalation of madness and busyness. Journey into the Now is about using the wisdom of different teachings and practices to allow us to slow down and reconnect with our hearts and the present moment. And in turn allowing us to reconnect with our purpose, whatever that may be for each of us. As part of the opening night, a film to celebrate Ajahn Brahm's 70th birthday was screened and Sandra Henville interviewed the producers of the movie, Richard Thomas and Jon Endre. Unfortunately we had some problems with audio when it came to interviewing Jon and showing the film so we edited it out. You can find an add free copy of the film here at https://anukampaproject.org/2021/08/10/a-life-of-kindfulness-a-tribute-to-ajahn-brahm-on-this-70th-birthday/.
